Podcasts we’ve made at our previous organizations

  • Elise drops in on LifeKit to host episodes on travel, parenting, fast fashion and more. She couldn’t resist making a little video companion, for some of the episodes, too.

  • From Runner’s World magazine, Human Race brought the depth, reporting, and care that readers had come to expect from ambitious features in the magazine to audio. Human Race told the story of a holocaust survivor, a donkey-themed run club, and 13-year old girl who broke the women’s marathon record in 1967 (now a book). Created, produced, and hosted by Rachel.

  • Elise regularly fill-in hosts, in her role at-large at NPR. IBAM is talk show with a heart. Hosts interview people in the culture who deserve your attention.

  • The flagship Texas Tribune podcast was created, produced and hosted by Elise in her role at The Texas Tribune. It is now ten years old and still going strong.

  • So what exactly happens in the town of Castle Rock, Maine? This has been a question fans of Stephen King have been asking forever. This CASTLE ROCK AFTER SHOW covers all of the eerie happenings on this anthology show and more. Rachel bravely worked on this show even though she flat-out refuses to watch scary movies.

  • Hosted by Runner’s World magazine’s Editor-in-Chief David Willey, The Runner’s World Show podcast brought listeners inside the runner’s world. The weekly mix included stories of ordinary athletes doing extraordinary things, exclusive interviews with notable names in the sport, the latest from the experts on training, gear, injury prevention, and nutrition, and what was happening behind the scenes at Runner’s World. Co-created and produced by Rachel.

  • The essential audio guide for startup entrepreneurs. Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian and a team of experts share their stories and teach the steps to startup success in this several-hour audio course. Produced for Knowable and Western Sound by Rachel.
